Intramuros Manila

Last weekend I had a fantastic outdoor photography lesson. It was a nice, sunny, but very hot day. We started at the Intramuros area. I took some pictures of the old buildings and interesting gardens. I had no idea how big this place was and was amazed by the historical artifacts. We probably spent four hours just walking around these areas. I took a couple of good shots and proceeded to the Rizal Museum.

The next venue for the photo shoot was by the harbor square of Manila Bay. Our timing was perfect. I was able to catch the golden hour of the day for some terrific shots. It was so nice to see the sunset with its color reflecting the ocean water. The shadow of the surrounding buildings combined with water and sunset to produce magnificent vistas.

After taking my shots we rested at the Yellow Cab restaurant facing the bay. We ordered pizza for dinner, and then we watched people passing by taking their pictures. The temperature was perfect by this time, not so hot anymore. I was cooled by the breeze coming from the ocean. It was a fun and exhilarating experience.
